Dip Netting Again!

My dad, sister, cousin Ben and I went dip netting last Thursday night ans all day Friday. I had a great time! I caught 12 fish, my dad caught 11, Mary 1 and Ben 1. My dad and I had a blast, but we were in the water watching and waiting almost the whole time. Mary unfortunately got drenched and had to change right before the fishing got hot and Ben just wasn't in the water hardly at all. Mary was sadly disappointed with her catch but didn't seem to care too much. He had a good time sleeping in the tent most of Fri after having shared the back seat of the truck with Mary Thur night and not getting much sleep.

My catch will fill up a cooler to take back to PA, and Matthew and I will have fish for the winter. Most of my fish were huge, it was awesome!!

Both the kids are sleeping right now, which is something they don't do very often together. It's great and I am enjoying this quiet time before the storm.

Luke is sick again with two ear infections and is back on antibiotics. Poor boy has not been sleeping well.

Today is the first day in a week the rain has stopped and the sun has peeked through the clouds. I need to go out and mow if only the grass will dry before it starts raining again.

Guest have started to arrive for the Eagle River Institute, which means time for meal planning and entertaining again. I have to make lunch on Monday and I think I'm going to make pizza. Sounds good to me.

"Uncle Mike Kabib" came in yesterday. The kids were supper excited to see him since he always brings treats!

My brother Isaac leaves for FIU tomorrow to start Med School. We will all miss him but hope this is a really good thing in his life! I'm sure he will be fine and since I am leaving for PA in a few weeks it's not affecting me as much as my MOM!! She is happy for him but will miss him a whole bunch. We suggested to Isaac last night that he should just tick my mom off today so she would be glad he was leaving and kick him out! :) My dad has already kicked Isaac out several times in the last few days telling him he has until Wed to get out! :) Isaac is just ready to be gone and start a new chapter in his life!
