I have a long standing tradition, dating all the way back to 2007, of watching a sporting event with my newborn children. With Luke, I watched the Cubs lose a baseball game in June (they were waayyyyyyy out of the race by then anyway). With Hannah, who was born on the first day of the NCAA basketball tournament, we watched about a gajillion basketball games in a day, many at the same time on the Internet. For Emma, tonight was all about Thursday night futbol Americana: Eagles vs. Texans. We watched the first half before I got tired and came home, leaving Stasia and Emma in peace.
So Luke likes baseball. Hannah actually has turned on a football game for me and refused to let my wife turn it off--even though Hannah was born on a basketball day. Hmm. Wonder what the preference will be for Emma? Yup. Hockey fan. She's already half-way there: no teeth.
