Happy St Nicholas Day

HI ALL
Happy almost St Nicholas Day. Well I guess if your Orthodox and tonight is really tomorrow it is St Nicholas Day.
We have Vigil at 4pm today and afterwords St Nicholas himself will be at the Seminary handing out gifts to the children. We also get dinner and will apparently be singing Christmas Carols. Should be a lot of fun. At least we get a free dinner out of the deal and Luke gets a present.

Tomorrow we have liturgy in the morning and then more presents. Yep, more presents. We got to make a wish list about a month ago and now we get whatever it is they bought us, maybe some of the stuff maybe all of the stuff we'll just have to see. But wait, there's more. On Sun after church St. Nicholas is going to our church in Emmas. Yes, we get to see St Nick twice in one week. I don't know how he does it because I also know he will be in AK to fill the kids shoes at SJ John's with candy and oranges. He's a really busy guy. :)

On Sun at STS there is also a Christmas Pageant the kids put on, but unfortunately we will not be able to make it, as it is right after church and we will be 1.5hrs away and we already have lunch plans after Church. Oh well, we can only make it to so much stuff in one weekend. I am glad we will be really busy though, that means less time in our house and more time out with other people. Luke and I are getting a little tire of each other. I don't know which of us is more excited to be going home for Christmas so we can just get out and walk to whoevers house we want to go to. Do you think Luke is too young to just send over to the Rogers without me? :)

Well I have to go wake up Luke so we can get to church somewhat on time.
