You know you're a NEPA Redneck if...

...if all public schools are given a holiday for the First Day of Deer Hunting Season.

Yup.

NEPA is more redneck than Alaska. And that's tough to beat.

Unfortunately, St. Tikhon's doesn't cancel classes due to the opening of hunting season. I guess they don't want us to walk around in the woods in black cassocks cuz we might get shot. Now if we had orange cassocks, then we could probably do it.

In other news, my buddy Keith (the redheaded usher at our wedding) got a job as a medical tech working in the Labor and Delivery department of a hospital in Washington DC. Good job Keith. Glad you have a job. You sure you don't want to just work at Burger King and call it good?

Check out OCA.org to see Luke and me on the front page (still). Some of the monastics joked with me, "The nerve! You're an Antiochian!" As if I could control it. Oh, and check out another great website: orthodoxtwopartmusic.org. It has some pretty good music on there that can be used in church.
