Two out of my three kids are sleeping right now and since the one that is awake is still quietly inside my belly I am free to do pretty much whatever I want. Now what to do??? This is a very rare occurrence in our house since Luke doesn't take naps anymore, but a very welcome one. So what have I been doing, playing on the computer and getting nothing productive done. Oh well! :)
My day's seem to be getting busier and busier and I'm not sure why. We go from on event to another and then for a spell there is nothing to do until we are super busy again.
Matthew is forever dong school work again (just one more year) and if it's not work for a class it's his thesis. With the thesis this year there is really no end to papers to write. As soon as a paper is done for a class and he is caught up, he still has THAT thesis to work on, always consuming his thoughts. It will be a never ending project for the year. On the flip side, Matthew hopes to have it done or mostly done be Christmas so the spring semester should hopefully be easier as we are trying to pack up all our belongings we want to keep and sell or give away the rest. I think the thesis project will be really good for Matthew to do, but I still can't wait till it's done. :)
Luke and Hannah are starting to sort of, kind of, sometimes play together. They will at least sit closer together and play, but most of the time that are yelling at each other because one wants what the other has. I do hope they eventually learn to get along.
I am starting to teach Luke his letters. He asked me the other day if I was going to be his teacher and when I said yes he told me "No, you can't be." He went on to tell me that Yaya was going to be his teacher when we get back to AK. Well there is probably some truth to that in as I couldn't teach him for very long because we would both be to frustrated with each other, but I think for now we will be okay. It is just one letter a week after all, how hard can that be. (I will soon find out.)
