Halloween Fun

Halloween was fun but exhausting. We took the kids to about a dozen houses and then we were done. Hannah and Luke took turns being little stinkers and not wanting to say trick-or-treat or thank you. At some point both of them were crying. Matthew and I were both exasperated! SO needless to say we kept it short and sweet and they both still got a whole bucket full. Plenty to last us most the year! :) Well maybe not quite! :)

The Dunaway family came over tonight so we could all sample wedding cake for Macrina. Macrina made Grandma Barbs banana cake with sea-foam icing and chocolate in the middle!! It was great. We all voted yes on the cake choice, only Uncle Marc and I want the hardened chocolate on the top like Grandma Barb use to do. Macrina said no though, just yellow sunflowers on top.

While the Dunaway's were here John and Kif wrestled with Luke. They were so funny, we were all laughing so hard. Luke would just run and jump on them and have no fear. And since the boys only made Luke cry twice, it was all good.

Everyone is in bed now and hopefully asleep. Emma did not take a nap today and was a wreck all evening. She finally went down way over tired and probably won't sleep well as it often goes with kids who don't take there nap. OH and Emma's first tooth poped out this morning. HURRAY!! Hopefully she will be less cranky now.

I am trying to make picture book online but the site is being funky and I am not having any luck, hence I am blogging instead. Well back to phote books and getting Christmas presents ordered. I feel I would like to have all Christmas shopping done be December, but I doubt that will happen. I don't even know what to get my kids. I'm a horrible shopper.
