It finally warmed up above 20 degrees outside tonight around 7pm. So at 9:30pm, after the kids were in bed and Matthew got home we ran water. I should say we are running water. Yes it's midnight, but it's been almost 3 weeks since we ran water last and as I am not really tired I figured I would just stay up a bit longer and run as much water as possible in case it gets cold again tomorrow. It's supposed to stay warm this week, but that's what they said for last week too and it never got above twenty so I don't know if I believe them. :)
This week on Thursday, December 1st, Emma Irene will turn 1 year old. My baby is getting so big and LOUD!! And opinionated and determined and strong minded and persistent and ...well I guess into a real person! She is what Fr Gabriel would call the "oober Luke", as in she is turning out to be a harder to handle child than Luke at this age. Emma Irene does not back down from anything, wants to do everything and can get almost anywhere...including one step up Luke's ladder on his bunk bed. This very determined child is also very smart and is starting to learn sign language.
