Well we made it back to PA and it is nice and warm and humid. Although we really miss everyone back in AK we are glad to be back in "our" house with our stuff. I am glad to be back in my kitchen with my stuff. We came back to a very dusty house. We have been steadily cleaning and wiping down everything. I finally moped today and I feel like the house is a lot cleaner.
This morning at 10 am, Matthew left for Antiochine Village for 4 days. He should get back Thur afternoon and then we go to a AAA Yankees Game at 7pm Thur night. There were 70 tickets (yes, seventy) donated to St Tikhons for the students so we got 3. I think there bleacher seats but there free so we don't care where we sit. In fact we will be up and down so much with Luke it really won't matter.
After Matthew left this morning a couple friends of mine here at seminary came over with their kids. It was great seeing them again and getting the kids together. Luke was having a hard time, toward the end, sharing his stuff, but for the most part they did good. Luke is so possessive it's ridicules. Tomorrow we are going over to Aunt Hannah's house (Little Hannah's Godmother) to play, and I think I will take Luke to the park. On Thur there is story time at the Library so I think we will go to that too. I want to get Luke out as much as possible for his sake as well as mine. Luke keeps telling me he wants to go home and tonight on the phone he told his Yaya to "come get me". He is having a really hard time adjusting this time, more than last summer. I think this is because he is more aware this year and really misses all the attention he is accustomed to.
So much time has passed since I last posted I don't even remember when I did it. We had a wonderful time in AK. Matthew worked for the church part time and another job part time. I worked for the church landscaping and what not around the grounds but did not get as much done as I had hoped. (It is really hard to get anything done with two small kids.) Luke and Hannah have really changed since we left PA in the Spring and returned in the Fall. They have both achieved big milestones in there lives.
Luke:
-talks a lot clearer
-can put thoughts into words (slowly but gets there)
-can count to 10
-learning his colors (blue and green are his best)
-can recite parts out of movies (Pooh Bear and Dinosaurs mostly)
-tells me when he poops and wants and immediate change (although he still does not want to go in the big potty I do think this a big step forward to get us there)
Hannah:
-rolls over
-loves to talk and babel
-purposely grabs at things (toys, hair, glasses etc)
-gets mad when certain toys are taken away
-eating solid food
-learning to sit up on her own
-has really nasty gas
Well off to bed for me. Both kids are finally asleep, and now I am heading that way.

I love how your catch-up lists with the kids both ended with bodily functions. I think Matthew is rubbing off on you too much. :) Miss you all.
