Today, I was walking Luke from the St. John's School over to the St. James House in order to change his diaper since Mt. Luke-suvius had exploded. Again. On the way, we saw Isaac working on the roof. During our brief visit, I told Luke to tell Uncle Ike that he (Luke) has diarrhea. Speaking deliberately, and loudly as possible since Isaac was on a rooftop but we were not, Luke stammered: "Unko Ike, I got..." *brief pause to think* "eye-ee-ah." Well done, son. You got all the syllables correct. I was so proud. :) I shared this with my sister tonight on the phone, and she just cracked up. And lo, once again a Howell has learned how to end conversations by referencing bodily functions.
That's my boy!
