This morning Luke was sitting in bed when I walked down the hall. I poked my head in, "Good morning Luke." "Good morie Papa." I asked him if he needed to go potty (he doesn't wear a diaper to bed, but has excellent bladder control all night for such a little guy). His answer: "what's that?" He was holding something small in his hand. He answered his own question very deliberately: "It's. My. Burger. From my. NOOOOSE!" I was laughing. "Luke, how bout if you go potty for a jelly bean?" "Ok, 4 jelly beans." "Umm, 2 jelly beans son." What a hard negotiator.
"Papa, you take my burger." "Ok..."
So I took it and put it in the potty before he got there. When he climbed up on the potty, he exclaimed with gladness, "It's my burger!" "Yes son, I put it in the potty." "I go peepee on my burger!!!" He was very excited about this.
So instead of firing away immediately, he kept lifting himself off the toilet seat to see his "burger" (booger). Then he finally did his business, and got down off the toilet eager to flush his pee-pee-burger down the toilet.
He is such a goober. Or should I say, "gurber".
Later this morning, Anastasia came down stairs with Hannah while Luke was upstairs. We hear from the top of the stairs, "Mama, can you come down tairs?" "I am downstairs with Papa." "After you're done looking at Papa, can you come up tairs?"

I remember Megan picking her nose in church and loudly proclaiming, "Look! A booger! It's GREEN!" Ah, kids...
Just wait until he can teach Hannah all these fantastic little things. :)
