Our Little Gymnast

Last year on the trampoline Luke perfected his flipping and jumping abilities which he already had from flipping and jumping everywhere in the house, now he can jump like a kangaroo, and has the stamina of, well, a three year old. This year, Luke has been out on the trampoline almost every day, twice or thrice a day since we got it a couple weeks ago. He has taught himself to do handstands and flip without the help of his hands. It's pretty stinking amazing. He just jumps and flips all over the place now. Matthew and I can't keep up!

Today I gave Luke a hair cut like his papa's. He looks pretty darn cute!! It took a bit longer than I had expected to cut his hair with the clippers, but we finally finished and Luke got two gummy alligators after the ordeal. Our very neat and tidy Luke did not like the feeling of having hair all over himself (in his ears, on his face, in his mouth and all over his back and arms.) After the first 30 seconds he declared himself done and ready to go play. Unfortunately, we still had about 5 min to go so he just had to sit there and pout. (pics to come)

Fr Stephen left us this morning to go home to CA. Luke asked him several times to stay forever, but of course he could not. We told Luke that grandpa had to get home to grandma Sally so she wouldn't be sad. (He kind of bought that but then said grandma didn't need grandpa. haha) But now in just about three weeks Yaya will be here and in about four weeks the rest of my family will be here, so we don't have to wait to long for more Luke and Hannah entertainers!! And since I have 5 different Dr appointments in the next two weeks and am going to be gone the last weekend of Oct, it should go by pretty quickly. There are also several ordinations coming up, play group once a week and something else that I am forgetting, so really we are going to be incredibly busy between now and the time Yaya shows up.
