Well we did it, we went and bought a trampoline for the kids. It will be a great investment, but it took us all darn day to go get it, take it apart and put it back together. The kids and I went in with Matthew for choir at the seminary hoping to take some back roads and cut some time off our trip. However we got over three inches of rain yesterday so the bridge was flooded and we couldn't go that way. We tried some other back roads and there was a huge part of the road that was washed out. The road was part of the lake, if we had driven into it the water would have been up well past our windows. We saw a sign in the distance for a bridge but there was no sign of the bridge its self at all. CRAZY!
So...we went back toward home and took the really long way. We made it there in an hour and a half, and took apart the trampoline in about an hour. So not to bad. On the way home we stopped at a Subway for lunch and outside there was an old, old merry-go-round. It didn't work with quarters but you could push it. It was great, we could go as fast as we wanted and we had it all to ourselves.
We got home around 4pm and didn't get the trampoline put all together until 7pm. It took us FOREVER!! Luke and Hannah and the neighbor kids got to jump for a short time, but it get's dark quick here and it was pretty cold. When the kids came in, there hands and feet were freezing. Tomorrow it is supposed to be sunny all day so I know what the kids and I will be doing. Matthew however get the day to himself and his computer. Because it took us all day to get the trampoline and Matthew got no work done, he gets all of tomorrow to work. (Well, most of it!)
