So Luke has become very vocal over the past couple months. He repeats everything he hears and says it over and over again. Here are a few:
-- "Call Yaya!" Yaya is my mom and Luke likes to talk to her on the phone (for short periods of time). If I don't dial for him he pushes random numbers on the phone and yells "Hi yaya, Hi Maremare (Mary), Hi Ike (Isaac), Hi Gampa (Grandpa) into the phone. It's supper cute but also sad in a way when there is no one on the other end answering. :(
-- When Luke wakes up in the morning to the sound of his sister crying he sits strait up and hollers "BABY!!" Luke is very protective of Hannah and if she's crying he lets up know, "Baby crying", until we do something about it.
-- Luke has started identifying things. At dinner he will point to each of up in turn and say "Mommy, Pappy, baby, Ookey (for Lukey)". He also identifies who's stuff is what in the house. For example: he points to the camera and says "Mommy's", he points to the computer and says Poppy's", he points to Hannah's binkie and says "baby's" and he points to his cup and says "Ookey's". He identifies pretty much everything and if your use something that's not yours he lets you know! :)
--Luke was down in the basement with Matthew tonight to help him with his homework (yeah right). Matthew accidentally nocked a metal rod off his desk and it made a really loud noise. Well it scared the pants off Luke (really, he came up without his pants) and he cryed for like 5 minutes about it. Matthew was telling me that Luke was just scared and not hurt in any way at all so Luke started repeating "scared". A few minutes later Matthew headed down stairs again and when he opened the basement door Luke pointed to it and said "scared". Well now I thing he associates the basement with scared.
--When it's time for "din-din" (dinner) Luke says "Pray". He know's we have to pray before we eat which is AWESOME!!! We are singing Christ is Risen right now for our prayer and Luke really likes it, so after we sing it he says "again". Super Cute!!!
We are going to listen to Fr. Peter Gillquest speak at the Seminary tonight so I have to go finish din-din and get the kids ready to go!

You forgot to mention how often he says "Mike."
Tooooo much. I bought a Mother's Day card today for my Grandma Joyce, and Luke was with me when I did it. So at dinner I asked him (in front of Anastasia), "Luke, whom did we buy the card for?" "MIKE!"
