The New Addition to Our Family

This is Cyclopsa, our little kitten. NOT!! But we are taking care of her till we can find her a good home. She was found in our back yard this afternoon while the kids were playing outside. She is missing her right eye and I have determined her to be about 3 weeks old. Any one want her. Fr Stephen? :)
Sleeping on my lap.
Trying to feed her some milk. She does not like baby formula or cow's milk squirted in her mouth. Have to go buy goats milk tomorrow.

Luke likes her on the floor but not on his lap.

Hannah's fist kitty! Not to sure what to think. :)

Luke in the kitty's box trying to pick her up.

Luke trying to pick up the kitty by the neck.

So we found this little kitty in our back yard today and now we have to find a home for her. She is super sweet but she is messing with our plans. Because she is only 3 weeks old she can not be left alone for more than a couple hours. Therefore our plans to go to the baseball hall of fame tomorrow morning have been put on hold till we can find someone to take care of her. Hopefully one of the shelters here will take her.

So, if your calculations are right and the cat is 3 weeks old and you found her yesterday, then that means you CAN leave her alone for a few hours. She spent two and a half weeks by herself. I think she'll be okay. Or ... you can take the cat with you and pretend that you had twins - one's just really, really hairy.

BTW - Congrats on getting your finals done.

I don't think she has been on her own for that long, she wasn't dirty enough or hungry enough. Also she would have to have been dropped off in our yard as she does not walk well enough to have gotten there on her own.
