Today Luke and Hannah reenacted the crucifixion of Christ. Luke crucified himself to the pillow cross and then of course Hannah followed suit. After crucifying themselves they made me take out the nails, wrap them in fine linen (a sheet) and place them in a tomb (Hannah's bed). They then of course rose from the dead and did it all over again. Once I forgot to take the nails out of Luke's feet and he wouldn't let me pick him up off the pillows cross until I did it "right."

It was so funny!! Luke kept saying "I want to be crucified." "I want Jesus to be crucified." It was kind of weird though I must say. We did a lot of crazy thing as kids (my siblings, cousins and I) but we never crucified ourselves. This is a new one for me. Matthew on the other hand was very proud was giving high fives to the Luke on the cross.
