Names for the naming committee

Many thanks to Mr. Rogers for commenting on the previous blog post. I agree: Tony Romo should man up or just hack off his pinky. Not like he's an accurate passer anyway...Also thanks to Mr. Rogers for sending this link:

Before you read more of this blog, go read that article. Now. I'll wait. Click here.

Ok, now that you're back, I can tell you that this article will be forwarded to the members of the Howell Family Baby #2 Naming Committee. There will be a few names going to the top of the list, most notable:
Cooter
Co-Eric
and best of all, Foswhitt (I like to pronounce it "Fo-SHWITT"--it's more fun that way)
Also on the list will be any normal name with "La" for a girl or "Le" for a boy added to the front of the name, for example, "LeMatthew" or "LaStasia". Also possible are apostrophes, as in "D'Brickshaw". This adds infinitie possibilities to the names for Baby Huey...ahem, L'Huey.

I also enjoyed seeing a big dude named "Bearthur." I'm convinced that guy was named after the lady from the Golden Girls, seen below.

Seriously, if you haven't read that article about the top 41 college football all-name team, then read it now! Click here.

We'll remember Mr. Rogers's contribution to the naming committee's efforts by sending him a bill for the Leatherby's ice cream we consume at our meeting in January in Sacramento. Thanks man!

PS: Here' s a non-related joke for you: How many St. Tikhon's students or grads does it take to change a light bulb? 13. 1 to change the bulb, and 12 to sing the Trisagion Prayers of the Departed for the bulb that died. At St. Tikhon's, we looooovvvvvve our memorial services. :) And rightfully so.

Jonho!
Welcome to the blog, brotha.
I think the choice will definitely come down to BiggAl, Juan Carlos Reyes Mateo Jefe Howell, or one of the organs (anyone for "Epidermis"? We can call him "Dermi"). I'm still prone to go with Cooter though. It sounds so NEPA-ish.

We watched The Office last night, and some lady had a baby girl named "Astird" (the sperm was from a sperm bank).

Maybe we'll just name our kid NEPA.

I think you should name baby "it" Yllas-I am not a big fan of family names and no one would have to know
(shhhhhh) that this is Sally backwards! It just sounds, oh so Arabaic (is that a word?), don't you think? Either that or the poor child would be called "jealous" with a hard j sound instead of the soft "yu" sound (poor kid). Love, Mom
(that's MOM backwards!!!)

Welcome to the blog! You officially ratified our decision to leave you off the naming committee... :) But we'll still put "Yllas" (pronounced ee-YAS) on the list. It might add some needed cultural influence to the family, helping us honor our Spanish roots.
