A Good Weekend

We had a really busy, but good weekend. Matthew had Fri and Mon off. He had to go to liturgy's on those days but no school.

On Sat we had a marriage retreat that we really enjoyed. The speaker, Dr Phil Mamilakus (spelling??? he's Greek), was really good. He was very interesting. He talked about how couples move toward, away from, or against each other. It was on my level and I could keep up with what he was saying. To often I go to things like this where I have no idea what their talking about after the first few min. It was a really long day for Luke, but he did great. Poor boy didn't get a proper nap in a bed all weekend, which means I didn't either. I am really looking forward to nap time today.

Sun was church as usual except that we had Vespers right after Liturgy, about 11am. Our priest didn't want to do Vespers by himself, so he did it when he knew a few people would be there. It was interesting. Luke and I only stayed for a few minutes of Vespers because it was too long for him. We played in the side hall and waited for Papa.

On Mon we had to go get our car worked on. We left at 7:30 am and got home around 2pm. It was a long morning. We went to Church for the Meeting of the Lord in the Temple and then went to breakfast. We still had to wait around at the car place for about an hour. I wasn't feeling well when we got home so I took a nap. Luke and Papa had some good one on one time. Then Matthew had basketball from 6-8pm and Luke and I went to some friend for dinner. Mike Habib and a friend of his were making Aribic food. It was pretty good for Aribic food.

Last night I remembered that I was supposed to make dinner for some friends (Daniel and Elizabeth) at 10pm. I was already in bed! I had to go down stairs and make dinner for them because I had to send it with Matthew this morning. He has the car today I would have no way of taking dinner too them till late tonight. It only took about 45 min so that wasn't bad. I made goulash because that is what I was going to make for us tonight anyway. Now I have part of our dinner done.

Time for us to eat lunch and take a nap.
