It's over

Finally, the game is over. It started at 8:15 last night and ended at 9:45. Final score: 65-61. Congrats to St. Vlad's on their victory. I missed a layup, a freethrow, and an open 8 footer in the first half. That would've been 5 points. So I'll take the blame for this one, especially since I played 38 of 40 minutes (by the way, I was in no condition to play that long, especially in a stopped clock game). My plan for next year is to start an intense steroid and weightlifting regiment. Hopefully I'll be able to dunk and then I'll be able to hold my own under the hoop. I hear Barry Bonds and Dana Stubblefield have some good connections to credible trainers.

Sorry man. At least you have the prison game to look forward to. It seems to me that St. Vlad's was trying to rattle you guys by changing times and stuff, anyway. Wasn't last years game really lopsided? Take the 4 point loss as a step in the right direction. Something to keep you hungry for next year. Cue the Rocky music and get back to work! Oh and start recruiting 7 footers.

Think Greg Gilquist wants to come play hoops? Or your buddy Dan from your old job?
You know we have depth problems when I play center on defense and point guard on offense. Yeah, maybe we can get one of each. Think KIF Dunaway wants to come play?

Sorry for the loss. Actually, I have to admit I am proud of my alma mater and wish that they had this tradition when I was around! Good game though. I do agree with Josh that they were probably throwing you off by changing the time and everything.
