Matthew gets a Break!!!

Luke loves to bounce on his bed and then jump off on to a pile of pillows. Sometimes it's best to just lay on the pillows though.

Apparently this day Luke did not get a long enough nap. He was tired and Matthew and I were trying to play a game so we put on the Lion King for him to watch and he soon fell asleep. He was laying in it sideways for a while but unfortunately we did not get a picture of that. He slept for about an hour. It was a nice little break.

Yesterday we went in for our last sonogram before the baby is born (hopefully). He/She is 5lb 8oz. By the time he is born he will almost definitely be bigger than Luke who was only 5lb 12oz. Last night I had a dream that I went into labor but I kept telling the doctor I refused to deliver for two more weeks until my mom got here. It was really weird.

It's getting really close to the big day. I now have to go see the doctor every week. My mom and sister will be here in two weeks. We can't wait to see them. It seems like it's been a long time since we were home for Christmas, but it's only been a couple months.

Luke has decided lately that he wants to sit on my lap instead of siting beside me. I'm 36 weeks and have grown a rather large belly (which Matthew likes to remind me about lol :)) and there is really not any room on my lap for him anymore. Besides that, having Luke push on my belly hurts and sometimes starts a contraction, which is just annoying. Hopefully this is just a faze while he's sick. He's been up the past few nights coughing his poor little head off. Needless to say neither of us has gotten much sleep. Luke sleeps best with his head propped up on my arm. I sleep best with his head not on my arm. Lets just hope he get better soon so we can both sleep again.

Today is Matthews last day of school for this week. He gets the rest of the week off for a pre-Lenten break. Luke and I are really excited because he has been so busy lately with papers we haven't spent a whole lot of time with him. Especially Luke who goes to bed some nights before Matthew is home. Also, I get to leave Luke with Matthew for an afternoon while I go to Walmart. I'm looking forward to getting out of the house alone. I love Luke, but we need a break from each other, and Luke needs some one on one papa time.
