At the request of Thomas Fizzdizzle, here are some pics of the house and the baby.

First, you see Mike Habib holding Luke. It's a good start. Next up for Mike: Diapers. Hey, we can all wish, right?

The second pic is of Luke enjoying his new favorite pastime: apple eating. He would probably eat that whole bucket if he could reach the apples at the bottom of it.

Luke has made friends quickly by simply barging into the neighbor's wading pool. Although, to be fair, Luke was defending OUR side of the yard. The pool is under our apple tree outside our backyard, so if Liam the 6yr old neighbor wants to go swimming under our apple tree, he has to let Luke pee in his pool, right? Right.

Mike and I enjoy our Labor Day Libations around the fire in our backyard. Did I mention that we have a fire pit? Yeah, pretty sweet. And no cage or rocks or anything around it. Just a hole in our grass. That's how we roll in NEPA (so previous post from today for more NEPA fun).

On the inside, our new kitchen with the breakfast bar/island, and the unfinished cabinets (they will be worked on this weekend). Our laundry room is seen in the background off the kitchen.

Next, our house from the backyard. Our half of the house is on the right. Our backdoor is open, next to the large apple tree which drops apples in our yard more than the moose used to drop turds in our driveway in AK. As you can see, our yard is spacious. To the left of the house (from this view) is a large vacant lot with grass that the owner mows once a week. So it's like we have a one acre backyard but only have to care for 1/3 of it. Our 6 car garage can be seen to the right of the house. We hope to make good use of it during the winter.

Next, Anastasia and Luke are pictured munching on s'getti on the island. No man is an island, but you can play on one in the kitchen if you're small like Luke.

Finally, Luke enjoys his new swing set. It is closer to his current size than our swingset in Eagle River. He really likes the slide, and will swing all day long if we let him (we don't let him--we get too bored and he would bake like a...uh...a...well, like a pale alaskan baby in the sun).

Hope you enjoyed. I actually have hw to do and should probably get to bed. I'm leaving for liturgy at 6am tomorrow--and it'll be dark. Yikes.

That's how he rolls in NEPA. Plus, think of all the time Mike will save by not getting up from his desk and going all the way to the bathroom...
