Luke with his Mittens

Luke found his gloves in his basket of winter things and wanted to wear them. He was really excited. He had a hat on too but that came off when the gloves went on.

Today is our first day of Thanksgiving break and I think I am going to start doing some baking. I want to try and make a pumpkin cake roll. I have always wanted to make one but have never got around to it. Now that Matthew is home for the day I can make one and not worry about Luke as much. I think that they take a lot of time, we shall see. I also need to make rolls and cinnamon roll for Thanksgiving. I promised Matthew cinnamon rolls for breakfast Thanksgiving morning, and I really want them too.

Last night Matthew went to the Seminary for basketball practice and came home with 50lb's of potatoes. Apparently there were a bunch of 50lb bags up for grabs for married Seminarians. We needed potatoes for mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving anyway, just not that many. We'll have to see how long it takes to get through it if we can even use them all before they go bad. Well at least we can plant some of them in the spring.

I have to go make breakfast for Matthew and Luke. We are going to make pancakes and hash browns. Yum. Matthew has already started the potatoes so I have to get going on the pancakes. Hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving.
